Jockey Jarrell James led Jkh Almost A Dynasty from wire-to-wire for a neck victory over post-time favorite Docs Blazin Gal. The daughter of Jr Dynasty Mountain clocked a 91 speed index with a slight tailwind in :17.665 seconds. The 350-yard upset paid $30.00 to win on 14/1 odds.

Today's victory was Jkh Almost A Dynasty's first black-type stakes win, and the $52,150 share from the purse increased her bankroll to $60,650. The three-year-old filly has four career wins, including the Yellow Rose Fillies & Mares Stakes at White Pine Racing last year.
