Kiss Me Ina Flash Tops Dash For Cash Futurity Trials at Lone Star Park

Undefeated Oklahoma Futurity (G2) winner Kiss Me Ina Flash continued her perfect season Saturday night at Lone Star Park, posting the fastest qualifying time from 13 trials for the $425,000-est. Dash For Cash Futurity (G2).

The 10 fastest 2-year-olds from the 400-yard trials earned starting spots in the October 10 final.

Kiss Me Ina Flash overcame trouble at the start of the third trial before drawing away to a one-length victory in :19.464, the fastest clocking of the night. The sorrel filly stumbled and bumped at the break but quickly recovered under leading jockey Juan Pulido before taking command and pulling clear.

Trained by Kash Reed for owner Madison Dunn, Kiss Me Ina Flash is now undefeated in three career starts with earnings of $185,933. She won the Oklahoma Futurity (G2) earlier this season.

Bred in Oklahoma by Flashing My Pjs Partnership, Kiss Me Ina Flash is by a leading sire Kiss My Hocks from Flashing My Pjs, by First Moonflash. She was a $140,000 purchase at the 2025 Heritage Place Yearling Sale.

Jt Midlife Crisis turned in the night's second-fastest qualifying time when he won the fifth trial by 1 1/4 lengths in :19.510. The sorrel gelding, ridden by Roman Cruz, took command and drew clear late for trainer Marla Dayana Vargas and owner Cuadra Ladrilleros, Ltd. Co.

The victory improved Jt Midlife Crisis' record to five wins from six starts and earnings of $110,098. He won the Speedhorse Futurity (G3) earlier this year and was a finalist in the Easy Jet Stakes (G2).

Jeffrey Allen Tyer bred Jt Midlife Crisis in Oklahoma. The gelding is by multiple stakes sire Tell Cartel from Wranglers Vision, by Real Visions.

Natural Flyin Cowboy recorded the third-fastest qualifying time despite finishing second to Kiss Me Ina Flash in trial three. The gelding stopped the timer in :19.646, finishing one length behind the fastest qualifier while clearly securing second.

Oscar Nunez trains Natural Flyin Cowboy for owner Maria Gonzalez, and Oliver E. Martinez was aboard. The Texas-bred gelding is by leading sire Flying Cowboy 123 from Just Another Natural, by Furyofthewind. Louis A. Malechek III is the breeder.

A $50,000 purchase at the 2025 TQHA Yearling Sale, Natural Flyin Cowboy has won two of five starts with two seconds and earnings of $179,291. He was runner-up in the TQHA Sale Futurity (RG1) and a finalist in the Texas Breeders' Futurity.

Hott For Chicks gave trainer Kash Reed and jockey Juan Pulido a second representative among the four fastest qualifiers when he finished second in trial five. The gelding recorded the night's fourth-fastest time of :19.734, finishing 1 1/4 lengths behind Jt Midlife Crisis.

Owned by Dennis Dreier and bred in Oklahoma by Dunn Ranch, Hott For Chicks is by first-crop sire In Hott Pursuit from Chickitita, by Tac It Like A Man. He was a $27,000 purchase at the 2025 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale.

Hott For Chicks has made two career starts with one second and one third while earning $3,184.

The remaining six qualifiers were Jet Two Is Armed (:19.758), Rj Black Beauty (:19.775), El Rey de Chilitos (:19.834), Not Tonite Cowboy (:19.847), Bv Hit the Road Jack (:19.857) and Staggeringcowboy (:19.865).

Jet Two Is Armed won the second trial by three-quarters of a length in :19.758, while Bv Hit the Road Jack was a 2 1/4-length winner of trial eight in :19.857.
