Keep On Rollin 123 Tops Miss Roxie Little Futurity Trials

Boco Futurity winner Keep On Rollin 123 turned in a sharp 19.843-second performance Saturday to post the fastest qualifying time from six trials for the $386,000 Miss Roxie Little Futurity ([R]G3) at Horseshoe Indianapolis.
Six 400-yard trials were conducted for 2-year-old Indiana-breds, with the 10 fastest qualifiers advancing to the October 24 final.
Keep On Rollin 123 defeated fellow finalist Wyld Over Corona by one length in the third of six trials, Race 9, for the day's fastest qualifying mark. The sorrel gelding took command during the trial and was confidently handled through the finish.
Owned by Whiting Ranch and Raymond A. Whitmire, Keep On Rollin 123 is trained by Ricardo Martinez and was ridden by Martin Munoz. Whiting Ranch bred the gelding in Indiana from leading sire Flying Cowboy 123 and the Lota Pyc mare Flashy Lota.
Keep On Rollin 123 has now won four of five career starts with one second and earnings of $138,725. Earlier this season, he won the Boco Futurity in Kenucky.
Wyld Over Corona secured the second-fastest qualifying time after finishing second to Keep On Rollin 123 in the third trial. The gelded son of champion Kvn Corona led early before yielding to the winner, completing the 400 yards in :19.994.
J F Racing Stables LLC owns and bred Wyld Over Corona in Indiana. Tim Eggleston conditions the gelding, with Luis Eduardo Luna Diaz aboard Saturday. He is out of Jess Over Yonder, a daughter of Apollitical Jess.
Wyld Over Corona has won four of six career starts with one second and one third while earning $126,069. His stakes résumé includes a victory in the Jaguar Rocket Stakes and a third-place finish in the QHRAI SSA Futurity ([R]G3).
Jazz Solo recorded the third-fastest qualifying time when he won the opening trial, Race 7, in :20.016. The brown colt broke sharply, took command and held off Nachos Secret by a neck for the victory.
Owned by Francisco Javier Rodriguez, Jazz Solo is trained by Tim Eggleston and was ridden by Luis Eduardo Luna Diaz. Roger D. and Kimberly A. Beam bred the colt in Indiana. He is by the stakes sire Encore from Jazz By Moonlight, a daughter of Jazz Be First.
Jazz Solo has won three of five career starts with one second and earnings of $65,650. He entered Saturday's trials off a runner-up finish in the Gordon Mobley Futurity.
The remainder of the 10 fastest qualifiers were Nachos Secret (:20.060), Scarcity (:20.070), Malibu Kenn (:20.121), Flashin Firefly (:20.144), Tw Cowboy First Down (:20.165), Hh Tessas Beach (:20.203) and Hh Julie K (:20.218). Flashin Firefly won the fifth trial, Race 11.
