Jvm Hot Victoria Dominates Colors Of The Alamo Paint & Appaloosa Futurity

Jvm Hot Victoria APHA drew away from the field Saturday night to capture the $61,972 Colors Of The Alamo Paint & Appaloosa Futurity at Retama Park.

Ridden by Rosendo Pina Garcia, Jvm Hot Victoria broke sharply from post two and quickly established the lead. The filly drew clear late to win by 1 1/4 lengths, completing 350 yards in :17.831 for a 96 speed index.

Jvm Hot Victoria is a homebred for Juan Leon and is trained by Wendy Garcia. The Texas-bred filly is sired by Chilitos and out of the Gol To Go mare Victoria Camila.

The victory improved Jvm Hot Victoria's record to 7-5-1-0 with earnings of $60,344. She has also won the Colors Of Houston Futurity (G2) and TBHBA Paint Horse Juvenile.

This Cowboys An Eagle APHA crossed the wire in second under Raul Hernandez Jr. The gelding raced fourth early before making his bid and moving into second, finishing 1 1/4 lengths behind the winner in :18.050 for a 90 speed index.

Owned by Jesus Molina and trained by Joseph Manucy, This Cowboys An Eagle was bred by Sandra Garnett. He is sired by This Is An Eagle and out of the Awesome Chrome mare Camo Cowgirl.

This Cowboys An Eagle now has a record of 6-1-2-0 with earnings of $22,895. He won the Colors Of Houston Juvenile (G2) and was a finalist in the TBHBA Paint Horse Juvenile.

Flying G Litos initially crossed the wire in third but was disqualified and placed fifth for interference at the start, elevating Trillion to third.

Trillion, ridden by Jose Herbert, was unruly in the gate before finishing fourth across the wire in :18.239 for an 84 speed index. Following the disqualification, he was elevated to third.

The colt is a homebred for Guerras Racing Stables and is trained by Gilberto Gonzalez. He is sired by Cartel Dragon and out of the Painted Turnpike mare Cl Painted Shadows. Trillion now has a record of 5-0-0-2 with earnings of $11,056 and previously finished third in the Colors Of Houston Juvenile (G2).

Cholula H was elevated to fourth, followed by Flying G Litos, San Chilitas and A Political Risk.
