FREDRICKSBURG, TX—AUGUST 25, 2024—Hes Grandee Gl scored his first career stakes victory on Sunday with a length victory in the $25,000 Hill Country Classic at the Gillespie County Fairground.

Under a hand ride by jockey Victor Urieta, Jr., Hes Grandee Gl completed the 400 yards in 19.696 seconds, equaling a 95-speed index into a 7 mph crosswind. Trainer Juan Diaz, Jr. saddled the 4-year-old son of champion sire Hes Relentless to his fifth win from 10 career starts.
