Ridden by Luis Collazo, Bg Hawks An Eagles broke alertly and held off Gw Lighning Strike to win the 350-yard event by a half-length in :17.612, earning a 102 speed index.

Owned and trained by Cesar Luna, the 2-year-old filly was bred in Idaho by Becky Grant. She is sired by Eagle Deluxe and out of the Hawkinson mare Gone By.

Bg Hawks An Eagles has now won five straight races and improved her record to 8-5-1-1 with $20,874 in earnings.

Bg This Is My Broom and Rs Apollitical Doll completed the order of finish. Rapid Willy was scratched by the veterinarian.
