RUIDOSO DOWNS, NM–SEPTEMBER 2, 2024–Let loosed at 50-1 odds, Bacardi scored the biggest win of his career Monday when he was a three-quarter length winner in the $100,000 All-American Invitational for 3-year-olds who did not qualify for the Grade 1 All American Derby.
Under jockey Alfredo Sigala, Bacardi drew off late to complete the 440 yards in 21.116 seconds, equaling a 99-speed index into a 14 mph crosswind. It was the second win in 11 career starts for the $50,000 Heritage Place September Yearling Sale graduate.
