Texas Racing Commission Mandates All Owners, Trainers & Jockeys Be Licensed Prior To Entry Of Horses

GRANDE PRAIRIE, TX–AUGUST 19, 2024–Per the Texas Racing Commission, all owners, trainers and jockeys now must be currently licensed prior to the entry of their horses.

Please check with the TXRC to see if you need fingerprints with your renewal. It will require more time if you are needing fingerprints.

We ask that trainers contact their owners to check and see if their owner's license is current and not expired before entering horses. Please note when your owner's license will expire so it can be updated if and when it happens to expire mid-meet.

The first day of racing is slated for Friday, September 6 and will run thru Saturday, November 16 this year.
