LQHBA Reminds Horsemen of Upcoming October and November Deadlines

The Louisiana Quarter Horse Breeders Association (LQHBA) is reminding horsemen of several important nomination and payment deadlines approaching during October and November, including an October 15 late supplement deadline for the 2028 Louisiana Million Futurity.

The 2028 Louisiana Million Futurity late supplement of $400 is due October 15.

Two additional payments are due in the LQHBA office on October 30. A $200 payment is due for the 2027 Mardi Gras Oaks, while a $500 payment is due for the 2027 Louisiana Downs Open Futurity. Horsemen are asked to include a copy of the horse's AQHA registration papers.

Several additional deadlines follow in November.

The 2027 Mardi Gras Derby nomination of $200 is due in the LQHBA office on November 2.

Stallion donations for the LQHBA Stallion Service Auction are due November 13, followed by the 2027 Mardi Gras Futurity nomination payment of $500 on November 16.

The month's final deadline is November 30, when $400 nominations for Champions Day are due in the LQHBA office.

Horsemen should make note of the following upcoming deadlines:

• October 15: 2028 Louisiana Million Futurity late supplement — $400
• October 30: 2027 Mardi Gras Oaks payment — $200
• October 30: 2027 Louisiana Downs Open Futurity payment — $500
