Lone Star Park Announces Fall Meeting of Champions Training Schedule

GRAND PRAIRIE, TX–AUGUST 5, 2024–Lone Star Park announced the following training schedule for the upcoming Fall Meeting of Champions.

The meet is set to kick off on Friday, September 3, and turn through Saturday, November 16.

Live racing is set for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with the first post at 6:05 p.m. (CDT). On Breeders' Cup Saturday, November 4, gates will open at 10:30 a.m., and the first live post will be at 6:05 p.m.

Lone Star Park - Training Schedule*

SHIPPING IN:
Race Meet stabling begins on Monday, August 19
Sale horses begin shipping in on Thursday, August 22
*The Thoroughbred Yearling Sale is Monday, August 26, @ 10:00 am

TRAINING HOURS:
Starting Tuesday, August 27
7:00 am to 10:30 am, break at 8:25 am, Closed on Sundays
The track will also be closed for training on Labor Day (Monday, Sept. 2)

GATE SCHOOLING:
Starting Tuesday, August 27
Tuesdays thru Saturdays

CLOCKING/OFFICIAL WORKOUTS:
Starting Tuesday, August 27
Everyday

THOROUGHBRED WORKOUTS:
Starting Tuesday, August 27
Thoroughbreds can work on non-race days

PADDOCK SCHOOLING:
Starting Tuesday, September 3
Non Race Days, 10:30 am to Noon
