Lone Star Park Admittance Documentation Required
GRAND PRAIRIE, TX–AUGUST 26, 2024–Please note that to be admitted onto Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie’s grounds, a horse must have the following items.
A negative Coggins test for equine infection anemia needs to be conducted in accordance with the rules of the Texas Animal Health Commission in the twelve-month period preceding the horse’s arrival.
A health certificate issued in the 30-day period preceding the horse’s arrival is required.
All horses admitted to the stable area must have a current (within 180 days) FDA-approved EHV-1 vaccine or EHV-1 booster. Vaccine information must be noted on the health certificate for admittance.
A negative Piroplasmosis cElisa test for Theileria equi performed in the last year is also required for all quarter horses.
The Texas Animal Health Commission frequently monitors that we are correctly checking horses into the stable area. Please don't forget these things. You cannot be admitted without the proper documents.
