Lone Star Park – Shipping In Requirements
GRAND PRAIRIE, TX–AUGUST 10, 2024–Lone Star Park officials are asking horsemen and women to please note that to be admitted onto Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie’s grounds, a horse must have:
- A negative coggins test for equine infections anemia conducted in accordance with rules of the Texas Animal Health Commission in the twelve months preceding the horse’s arrival.
- A health certificate was issued in the 30-day period preceding the horse’s arrival.
- All horses admitted to the stable area must have a current (within 180 days) FDA-approved EHV-1 vaccine or EHV-1 booster. Vaccine information must be noted on the health certificate for admittance.
- A negative Piroplasmosis cElisa test for Theileria equi performed in the last year is also required for all quarter horses.
The Texas Animal Health Commission frequently visits to ensure we correctly check horses into the stable area. Please remember these things. You can only be admitted with the proper documents.
