"Day 2 of the 49th Heritage Place Fall Mixed Sale concluded with an average sales price of $15,594 and 90% of the horses offered today were marked as sold," said Heritage Place General Manager Spence Kidney.

The second-day results reflected increased buyer participation compared to the corresponding session in 2025, with 14 more horses sold and 12 fewer repurchases.

Friday's gross receipts were virtually identical to the corresponding session in 2025, when 195 horses sold for $3,259,600, averaging $16,716 with a $10,000 median.

While the session average declined 6.7 percent year-over-year, the number of horses sold increased 7.2 percent, and the clearance rate improved from 84.1 percent to 89.3 percent. The median remained unchanged at $10,000.

The overall two-day average of $16,964 reflects continued demand across the mixed-sale market, with the auction entering its final session Saturday.

"The overall average on horses sold through the second day is very comparable to 2025, and we look forward to a great session tomorrow to close out this year’s Fall Mixed Sale," Kidney added.
