Final Six Races At Los Alamitos Canceled On Saturday Due To Weather; $32,613 Pick Six Carryover Shifts To Sunday Night

The final six races of Saturday’s eight-race card were canceled due to inclement weather, with the decision made prior to the third race ahead of impending heavier evening rain.

The cancellation followed a thorough evaluation of all pertinent weather and racing factors. Los Alamitos Race Course operates under California Horse Racing Board Inclement Weather Policy, with protocols that prioritize the safety of equine athletes, riders, and all racing participants.

The $32,613 Pick Six carryover scheduled for Saturday has been moved to Sunday’s card, which begins at 5:10 PM. The Early Pick Four pool was paid out on tickets with two of four winners, while Pick Three wagers were refunded.

Los Alamitos remained open for simulcasting Saturday night and will open at its regular time Sunday for daytime simulcasting. Los Alamitos will also offer free general admission and free parking on Sunday night.
