2026 Dash for Cash Derby Webcast Coverage (VIDEO)

StallioneSearch.com concludes its weekend webcast coverage from Lone Star Park with highlights from the 2026 Dash for Cash Derby (G2). Royalist backed up his qualifying effort with a strong closing run to win the $168,400 final Saturday night. The 3-year-old colt completed the 440 yards in :21.376 over a fast track, earning a 98 speed index.

The victory followed his win in the Retama Park Derby and increased his career earnings to $252,881. Royalist also finished second in the Sam Houston Derby (G3) earlier this season and was a finalist in the Evangeline Downs Futurity (G2) at 2.

Bred by Veronica Gail Kawananakoa, Royalist is by Corona Cartel out of the stakes-winning One Famous Eagle mare Zigfield Follies. His female family traces to world champion Dashing Folly, who earned $535,841.
