ALBUQUERQUE, NM–MAY 25, 2026–Gf Shes Sinful, a 3-year-old daughter of a leading second-crop sire Dulce Sin Tacha, capped off a big weekend of trials for her sire on Sunday when she posted the fastest qualifying time to the Grade 1 $744,580 Ruidoso QH Derby at The Downs at Albuquerque.
Racing for owner All In Partners and conditioned by trainer Wesley Giles, the $50,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale graduate got her fourth career win in five starts. She posted the top qualifying time of 18.987, clocking a 105 speed index in 400 yards.
Ridden by Noe Garcia, Jr. and bred in Oklahoma by Kevin Birrell, Gf Shes Sinful suffered her only career loss after a troubled start in the $910,508 Texas Classic Futurity(G1) at Lone Star Park last November. She has banked $46,763.
All American Futurity(G1) finalist Envestor bookended the Ruidoso QH Derby trials for his sire, Dulce Sin Tacha, by posting the tenth fastest qualifying time for owners Richard Young, Joe Daid Yates, and Zack Stinebaugh. Also trained by Stinebaugh, the Belinda Shaw, Arkansas-bred, has won five of six starts and banked nearly $350,000 in his young career.

Dulce Sin Tacha sired two qualifiers into the rich $1,000,000 Ruidoso QH Futurity(G1) trials, Lethal Wind and Dulce Dreams.
Lethal Wind, a $105,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale graduate, clocked the fifth fastest time under Noe Garcia Jr for owner Who N And Out. Trainer Wes Giles will saddle the Stone Chase Stables LLC-bred gelding out of Lethal Breeze by Volcom.
Dulce Dreams got her second win in as many starts, posting the sixth-fastest time of 17.198 seconds and a 98 speed index. James J. Gonzales III trains the $52,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale graduate for AZ Field Services. Mark and Peggy Brown are the breeders.
The first leg of the Ruidoso Triple Crown will be contested at The Downs on Sunday, June 7.
In other trial news over the weekend, Dulce Sin Tacha sired finalists in both the $234,050 Sam Houston Derby (G3) and the $176,250 Sam Houston Oaks.
Rene Ramos III and Cindy Ramos' Heza Rusty Dulce posted the fifth fastest time in the Sam Houston Derby trials for trainer Ricardo Romero. Raul Padilla Hernandez, Jr. rode the $23,000 Heritage Place Yearling Sale graduate. Bob and Jerry Gaston are breeders.
In the Oaks trials Bm Candi Royale posted the fifth fastest time for owner-breeder Bobby W. Myers. Trainer Brittany Tellez named jockey Froylan Tellez Ramirez to ride the 3-year-old filly.
Finals for the Sam Houston Derby(G3) and the Sam Houston Oaks are scheduled for Saturday, June 13.
Additional Dulce Sin Tacha 2-year-olds will see action this coming Saturday, May 30, in the $1,158,940 Heritage Place Futurity (G1), $100,000 Heritage Place Juvenile, and $224,600 Speedhorse Graham Paint & Appaloosa Futurity [G1] at Remington Park as well as the $88,048 Beehive Futurity at Weber Downs in Ogden, Utah.
Second fastest qualifier Demarus, a $26,000 Heritage Fall Mixed Sale graduate, racing for owner George Seward, and Manriquez Ferando will race in the rich Grade 1 Heritage Place Futurity. Also trained by Manrizuez, the Dulce Sin Tacha gelding was bred in Texas by Valley Farm. Demarus is undefeated in two career starts.
Trainer Justin Joiner is expected to send out $190,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale graduate Prophets View in the $100,000 Heritage Place Juvenile Invitational for owners Jaime Brant and Linda Joiner. DSK, Ltd bred the son of Dulce Sin Tacha in Oklahoma.
Third fastest qualifier Dulce Dinero, a 2-year-old APHA son of Dulce Sin Tacha, will represent owner-breeders Shari Burger and Vickie McBee in the $224,600 Speedhorse Graham Paint & Appaloosa Futurity [G1] on Saturday, May 30. Roman Cruz rides the 2-year-old homebred for trainer Ruben Ruiz.
Also on Saturday, Famosa Sin Tacha, a $25,000 Heritage Place Yearling Sale graduate, will race in the $88,048 Beehive Futurity for owners Jared Woolsey, Dennis Jensen, Lex Fabrizio, and Randy Young. Edward Melzer Revocable Trust bred the Kyle Valenzuela-trained filly. In addition, $30,000 Heritage Place Yearling Sale graduate, Jess Sinful, will compete in the Horseshoe Indianapolis Maiden Stakes for owner/trainer Anthony Cunningham.
Dulce Sin Tacha has already sired multiple black type performers in 2026 and is looking for his first stakes winner of the season. Mister Sinatra was second in the Laico Bird Stakes-G3, Shesa Luna Tech was second in the Hipodromo de las Americas Distaff Challenge, Flawless Grace was third in the Remington Park Oklahoma-Bred Oaks, and Dulce Vales was third in the Oklahoma Juvenile.
Last year, Dulce Sin Tacha led the first year sires as the only stallion with money earners over $2 Million and is currently the #2 leading second-crop sire in 2026. The son of champion Jess Good Candy has sired 28 winners and earners over $577,000 in 2026.
In two crops to race, he has been represented by 59 winners, 18 black type, and earners of nearly $2.8 million, with an average earnings per starter of more than $22,000.
The 2020 and 2021 AQHA Racing Champion Colt stands at Granada Farms in Wheelock, Texas. The eight-time winner, owned and bred by Bob and Jerry Gaston, has earned $693,689.
