Multiple stakes-placed My Favorite Blue will begin his stallion career at Spring Hill Farms in 2026.

KAPLAN, LA—OCTOBER 24, 2025–Spring Hill Farms announced that My Favorite Blue SI 98 has been retired to stud and will stand the 2026 breeding season at the farm’s Kaplan, Louisiana, location.

His 2026 fee is $1,250, with an early booking special of $1,000 if booked by February 15, 2025. He is property of AH Equine, LLC and will participate in the Louisiana-bred program.

The 2013 stallion by Jess Louisiana Blue SI 109 out of Dasha Effort SI 99 by Fishers Dash retires with earnings of $120,188 from 25 starts and a record of 3 wins, 5 seconds (2 stakes), and 4 thirds (1 stakes).

He was the East Hi-Point Three-Year-Old Colt and a stakes-placed runner who finished second in the Mardi Gras Derby and Louisiana Purchase S., third in the Vinton S., and qualified for numerous graded events, including the Louisiana QHBA Futurity (G1), Louisiana Champions Day Derby (G2), and Louisiana Champions Day Classic (G2).

A son of AQHA Racing Champion Aged Stallion Jess Louisiana Blue, sire of more than 60 stakes winners and $28 million in progeny earnings, My Favorite Blue brings depth on the bottom side through Dasha Effort SI 99, a two-time winner of $21,756 who has produced nine starters and eight winners.

Her runners include Dasha Blue SI 99 ($243,800), runner-up in the LQHBA Louisiana Million Futurity [R]-G1, stakes-placed My Favorite Blue SI 98 (see above) as well as multiple additional winners and ROM earners.

Dasha Effort is a daughter of the blue-hen mare Such An Easy Effort SI 111 ($496,127), a Grade 1 winner and prolific producer whose family has yielded champions and graded performers such as champion Deelish SI 102, Grade 1 winner Fearless Freda SI 113, and their high-earning descendants—including world champion Heza Dasha Fire SI 105, Champion Fredricksburg SI 109, champion Fredaville, Champion Kiss Thru Fire, champion Ima Fearless Hero SI 92, champion Fearless Moon—underscoring the stallion’s appeal to breeders seeking proven female strength.
