Multiple Graded Stakes Sire Majestic Cartel Moves to Snow Ranch for 2027

Multiple graded stakes sire Majestic Cartel, a full brother to AQHA Racing Champion Five Bar Cartel, will relocate to Snow Ranch, LLC in Gainesville, Texas, for the 2027 breeding season.

The 2011 bay son of legendary sire Corona Cartel from the Dash Ta Fame mare Five Bar Molly will stand for a fee of $2,500. Majestic Cartel is owned by Shane and Brooke Snow and is an Accredited Texas Bred stallion.

Majestic Cartel never made it to the races after suffering an injury. He was a $180,000 graduate of the 2012 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale before entering stud in 2015.

Through nine crops to race, Majestic Cartel has sired 82 winners from 154 starters, with progeny earnings of $2,923,077. His runners include three stakes winners and five stakes-placed performers with average earnings per starter of nearly $19,000.

Heading his performers is multiple graded stakes winner Eye Will Decide SI 106, winner of nine races and $273,969. The gelding's victories include the Benny Pennington Memorial Stakes (RG2), Jesse Yoakum Memorial 870 Stakes (RG3), and San Marcos Stakes.

Majestic Cartel is also the sire of New News SI 111, a five-time winner with earnings of $208,951. New News won the West Texas Derby (G3), Rio Grande Handicap (G3) and John Andreini Memorial Stakes and was runner-up in the Mr Jet Moore Handicap (G2).

Other leading runners by Majestic Cartel include Jrs Jeeses Cartel SI 100, winner of the Flashy Hemp Stakes and $122,070; Jrs Majestic Pop Pop SI 93, an earner of $83,250; Ladys Diamond SI 110, with earnings of $81,047; and Jrs Tonyas Majestic SI 89, runner-up in the Mardi Gras Futurity (RG2) and an earner of $76,462.

Majestic Cartel's pedigree adds considerably to his appeal. He is by a leding sire of sires, Corona Cartel SI 97, the $557,142 Los Alamitos Million Futurity (G1) winner whose offspring have earned more than $73.7 million and include 205 stakes winners and 10 champions.

His dam, Five Bar Molly SI 107, was herself a Grade 1 winner. The daughter of Dash Ta Fame won 12 races and earned $187,109, with victories including the Vessels Maturity (G1), Miss Princess Handicap (G3) and Utah Classic Derby (RG3).

Most notably, Majestic Cartel is a full brother to champion Five Bar Cartel SI 91, one of Corona Cartel's accomplished racing sons. Five Bar Cartel won six of 11 starts and earned $1,068,825, earning AQHA Racing Champion Two-Year-Old Colt honors after winning the Ed Burke Million Futurity (G1). He also finished second in the All American Derby (G1).

The immediate family also includes graded stakes winner Fly Bar Special SI 103, an earner of $110,787, and Freedom Choice SI 88, who earned $281,423 and finished third in the Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity (G1).

Snow Ranch has also announced its 2027 stallion roster and fee schedule, with six stallions set to stand at the Gainesville facility. Joining Majestic Cartel at $2,500 is Buzzinga, a son of Jet Black Patriot, also at $2,500. Eos A Political Win, by Apollitical Jess, will stand for $3,000, while Bigtime Favorite, by Chicks Beduino; Captain Courage, by Mr Jess Perry; and Lil Kool Wagon, by Pyc Paint Your Wagon, have each been set at $2,000 for the 2027 breeding season.

Majestic Cartel will stand the 2027 season at Snow Ranch, LLC, 6736 US-HWY 82, Gainesville, Texas 76240. His fee is $2,500.
