WYNNEWOOD, OK—October 25, 2026

Dunn Ranch has announced a special $3,750 Color Incentive breeding fee for Tobiano and Double Copy Overo Paint mares booked to leading AQHA and APHA race-bred stallion Chilitos SI 103 for the 2027 breeding season.

The special incentive represents a savings of $3,850 from Chilitos' regular 2027 breeding fee of $7,600 and is designed to encourage breeders of qualifying Paint mares to take advantage of the stallion's growing success in both Quarter Horse and Paint racing.

A son of leading sire Apollitical Jess, Chilitos has established himself as one of the industry's most versatile young stallions, producing graded stakes winners in both AQHA and APHA competition.

The announcement comes during an outstanding October for the 9-year-old stallion, highlighted by another major stakes victory Saturday when his 2-year-old son Chilito captured the $326,600 Governors Stakes at Horseshoe Indianapolis.

Chilito, a $50,000 graduate of the 2025 TQHA Yearling Sale, is out of Racey Winner, by Shazoom. Bred by Jerry Windham and owned by Ryan Martinez, the gelding is trained by Ricardo Martinez and was ridden to victory by Martin Munoz.

The Governors Stakes victory adds another significant accomplishment to Chilitos' growing list of stakes-producing achievements.

Just one week earlier, on October 17, Chilitos demonstrated his influence in Paint racing when his offspring La Cholula and Ima Chili finished in a dead heat for victory in the $41,250 Karen Utecht Memorial Stakes.

The remarkable finish further underscored the stallion's ability to produce competitive runners in the Paint racing division.

Chilitos also dominated qualifying for the upcoming Grade 1, $100,000-estimated Texas Hero Paint & Appaloosa Futurity, siring six of the seven fastest qualifiers for the November 7 final.

That exceptional representation gives Chilitos a commanding presence heading into one of the fall season's major Paint and Appaloosa futurities.

According to the AQHA Leading Third-Year Sires by Money Earned standings updated October 24, Chilitos currently ranks No. 2 nationally among third-crop sires, with 122 runners, 53 winners, four stakes winners and $1,879,521 in 2026 earnings. His leading current-year money earner is Chile Gato, with $264,565.

His broader lifetime statistics are equally impressive. Through October 20, Chilitos had sired 172 starters from 247 foals of racing age, including 104 winners, 14 stakes winners and 12 additional stakes-placed runners. His offspring had accumulated $5,428,014 in lifetime earnings, averaging $31,558 per starter.

Among his leading performers are Holy Guacamolee SI 102, winner of the Grade 1 Texas Classic Futurity with earnings of $444,393; JC Speeding SI 103, winner of the Grade 1 Speedhorse Graham Paint and Appaloosa Futurity with $380,452; and Full Moon Desire SI 103, winner of the Grade 2 Evangeline Downs Futurity with $298,158.

Other notable offspring include Chile Gato SI 102, third in the Grade 1 All American Futurity with $264,565; Ima Chili SI 105, a multiple stakes winner with $256,424; and Reletless Politics SI 92, winner of the Grade 2 Firecracker Futurity with $205,560.

Chilitos is a 2017 sorrel son of Apollitical Jess out of Mary Me Anna, by Game Patriot. He entered stud in 2021 and is owned by El Patron Stables LLC.

He participates in numerous breeding and racing incentive programs, including Fuego Stallion Incentive, Oklahoma Bred, APHA, Texas A&M Legends, TQHA Sires' Cup, Bitterroot, QHRAI and OQHRA.
