WYNNEWOOD, OK—October 29, 2026

A Revenant’s offspring continue to make their mark in Grade 1 company, most recently with Revenantly, who was runner-up in the Golden State Million Futurity (G1) at Los Alamitos on October 25.

As his progeny add to that record, breeders can book to A Revenant for 2027 at an early booking fee of $2,500 when paid by January 1, 2027—a $2,000 savings off his regular $4,500 fee. Breeding is available through ICSI only.

Through six crops to race, A Revenant has sired 15 stakes winners and 15 stakes-placed runners, with those 30 black-type performers representing 19% of his 157 starters. His progeny have earned $6.8 million, averaging approximately $43,000 per starter—nearly ten times his regular $4,500 stud fee.

Revenantly added to those totals by earning $197,905 for his runner-up finish in the $1,191,150 Golden State Million Futurity (G1), increasing his career earnings to $223,666. Christian Cardenas rode the gelding for owner Demler Quarter Horses and trainer James J. Gonzales II.

The second-fastest qualifier behind eventual winner Lightning Vaquera, Revenantly carried his trial form into the final to earn his first Grade 1 placing. Bred by Flag Ranch LLC in Oklahoma, Revenantly is out of Fast Prize Janie, by Carters Cartel.

He is one of 19 runners by A Revenant to earn $100,000 or more. Each of the stallion’s five leading earners has surpassed $300,000, led by Take A Swig Of This, who earned $439,556 and won the Los Alamitos Winter Derby (G1) and Heritage Place Derby (G2).

Deep Blue follows with $397,964 and a victory in the Heritage Place Oaks (G2). Apollirevenge, an earner of $397,832, won the Heritage Place Futurity (G1), while A Maverick earned $384,510 and won the TQHA Sale Futurity (RG1). Sippin Hayden, third in the All American Futurity (G1), has earned $322,801.

A Revenant’s record also includes AQHA Champion Two-Year-Old Filly Revenant Moon, an earner of $267,585.

His stakes siring prowess has continued in 2026 with six black-type performers, including stakes winner Lethal Demon SI 99, an earner of $105,684 who won the Casino at the Downs Stakes. Joining Revenantly among this year’s stakes-placed runners is Apollirevenge SI 96, who finished second in the Easy Date Stakes (G2).

Onthrocks SI 107, an earner of $267,379, finished second in the Sam Houston 550 Stakes and third in the Gary Baber Memorial. The Rev Rocker SI 104, with earnings of $71,194, placed third in the White Pine Raceway Governor’s Stakes, while Expensive Toro SI 97, an earner of $22,592, finished third in the Rainbow Juvenile.

Apollirevenge will have another opportunity to add to her sire’s record when she returns Saturday, October 31, in the trials for the $243,000 Purina Feeds Texas Classic Oaks (G2) at Lone Star Park. Twenty-nine fillies are entered in three 400-yard trials, with the ten fastest advancing to the November 21 final.

The Heritage Place Futurity (G1) winner is the 3-1 morning-line favorite in the final trial. Francisco Calderon has the riding assignment for owner Weetona Stanley and trainer Kash Reed. Bred by Rancho El Cabresto Inc. in California, Apollirevenge is out of Apollititaka, by Apollitical Jess.
