Multiple Stakes Winner Cayenneoverthemoon Gets 13th Career Win, Sets Fastest Time In Silks & Spurs

GILLETTE, WY—JUNE 9, 2024—Multiple stakes winner Cayenneoverthemoon scored his 13th career win on Sunday while setting the fastest qualifying time for the Silks & Spurs Maturity at Energy Downs 307 Racing Horse Racing.

The 10 fastest qualifiers from three 400-yard trial races contested today will return to the Gillette, Wyoming racetrack on Sunday, June 23, to vie for the winner's share of a $50,000-added purse.

Cayenneoverthemoon had plenty left as she crossed the wire under jockey Noe Garcia. The 5-year-old daughter of multiple stakes sire Brindis Por Cayenne completed the 400-yard task in 20.304 seconds, equaling a 90-speed index into a 12 mph headwind.

Tryston Matt trains the mare for owner Walter Larson. S Bar S bred Cayenneoverthemoon in Wyoming from the Apollo (TB) mare Dashmetothemoon.

With four consecutive wins in as many starts this season, including the Ron Moosman Memorial in her last start on May 26, she has compiled a (27) 13-3-2 record and banked nearly $120,000.

David Hinkins' Unavailable was a neck back in the fastest trial to secure the second fastest clocking of 20.342 seconds, an 89-speed index. Cesar Moreno had the riding call aboard the stakes-winning daughter of champion Jess Good Candy.

Raelee Giles conditions the 5-year-old mare out of Shades Of Blue Girl by Corona Cartel. Reliance Ranches LLC bred Unavailable in Oklahoma.
