Yanet Lopez, Heritage Place Online Auction Coordinator & Office Administrator

Yanet Lopez, a driven and ambitious individual, has forged a remarkable path since graduating from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science-Production and certification in Equine Enterprise Management. With a background rooted in a commercial cow-calf operation, Yanet made a seamless transition into the racehorse industry during her time at OSU.

Her academic excellence was recognized through a prestigious 3-in-1 internship opportunity with the A-Bar Ranch, the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association, and the American Quarter Horse Ranching division. Yanet's dedication and passion were further showcased when she became a member of the OSU Spirit Rider Team in 2018, where she played a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of Bullet, OSU’s beloved mascot.

Beginning her journey at Heritage Place in 2016 under Lazy E Ranch, Yanet's commitment and hard work led her to transition to the sales office during the 2018 sales season. Now a valued full-time employee at Heritage Place since the summer of 2022, Yanet's story is a testament to perseverance, seizing opportunities, and excelling in the field she is truly passionate about.

Immersed in the world of livestock from a young age, Leslie's passion for Veterinary Medicine was ignited early on, leading her to pursue a major in the field during her academic journey. In 2018 her curiosity and enthusiasm for exploring new avenues and building connections led her to work alongside Roger Daly, where she dedicated her summers and falls to traveling to horse sales and assisting in sale preparations. Graduating in 2020 from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor's degree in animal science and equine management, Leslie's dedication and hard work paid off as she secured a position as a veterinary assistant at Bobby Cox Ranch in Weatherford, TX.

Embracing new beginnings, Leslie recently tied the knot with Mason Hough and made the exciting move to Oklahoma City to pursue their respective career opportunities. When she's not tending to animals, Leslie finds joy in leisurely walks with her husband and their two rescue dogs, Archie and Sunka, or indulging in a delightful brownie fudge sundae at Braum's.
