RUIDOSO, NM–JUNE 10, 2020–StallioneSearch.com continues its webcast coverage of the 2022 Ruidoso QH Futurity(G1) and Ruidoso QH Derby(G1) weekend with episode 3, the second preview of the Ruidoso Derby.

On this episode, StallioneSearch goes to the barn of trainer Wes Giles to discuss the second-fastest Ruidoso Derby(G1) qualifier, KJ Desparado.  The three-year-old son of leading sire Apollitical Jess stopped the timer at :20.204 to qualify second fastest with regular jockey Adrian Ramos in the irons.

Both trainer Wes Giles and jockey Adrian Ramos teamed up to win last season's $3 million  All American Futurity(G1) with KJ Desparado for owners John and Wanda Lee and Ruben Mares. 

Sunday's $850,000 derby final will be the geldings first Grade1 event this year.

The Ruidoso QH Derby(G1) will be contested as the 9th race on Saturday's. June 11, 2022, card at Ruidoso Downs.
