Q-RACING —MARCH 26, 2020—This is a compilation of industry notifications due to COVID-19 concerns as of 3/25/20 1:33 p.m. (CDT). This is a fluid situation, and changes happen rapidly. This page will be updated as quickly as possible, but may be delayed.

ARIZONA

  • Rillito Park – Postponed, tentatively rescheduling
  • Turf Paradise – Cancelled, stable area open until May 1

CALIFORNIA

  • Ron Hartley Memorial – Postponed
  • Los Alamitos Race Course – Racing as scheduled, closed to public

COLORADO

  • Arapahoe Park – No announcements (meet set to open May 23)

IDAHO

  • Pocatello Downs – No announcements (meet set to open May 3)

INDIANA

  • Indiana Grand – Casino closed through March 30, backside not accepting new horses, stakes payments are delayed, meet (set to open April 14) may be delayed.

IOWA

  • Prairie Meadows – Casino closed indefinitely

LOUISIANA

  • Louisiana Downs – Final days of racing cancelled, casino closed
  • LQHBA Member Meeting – Cancelled
  • Delta Downs – Casino closed through March 30, no announcements regarding live racing (meet set to open April 17)

NEW MEXICO

  • Sunland Park – Racing suspended, closed until April 6, open for training until meet is scheduled to end
  • Ruidoso Downs – Casino closed through April 9, no announcements regarding live racing (meet set to open May 22)
  • SunRay Park – Casino closed, no announcements regarding live racing (meet set to open April 24)
  • Downs at Albuquerque - Casino closed

MINNESOTA

  • Canterbury Park – Card room closed indefinitely, live racing postponed, barn area won't open before May 1

OKLAHOMA

  • Remington Park – Racing while closed to public, casino closed.
  • Will Rogers Downs - Thoroughbred meeting continues racing while closed to the public, casino closed through March 31

TEXAS

  • Lone Star Park – Closed through March 31.
  • Sam Houston Race Park – Cancelled spring Quarter Horse meet, refunds will be sent to horsemen

UTAH

  • Weber Downs – No announcements regarding live racing (meet set to open April 25)

WASHINGTON

  • Emerald Downs – Closed, live racing likely delayed/cancelled (Meet set to open April 18)
  • Sun Downs – No announcements regarding live racing (meet set to open April 18)

BRAZIL

  • Jockey Club de Sorocaba – Racing as scheduled, closed to public

CANADA

  • Ajax Downs – Simulcasting Suspended (meet set to open May 10)
  • Century Downs - closed until further notice

MEXICO

  • Hipodromo de las Americas – Racing as scheduled
