First-Crop Sire Glock Gets First Stakes Winner

MORGAN, UT—Glock, a G1-placed son of champion Foose, got his first stakes winner on Saturday when KP Dillion won the $88,268 Hadley-Giles Futurity at Weber Downs in Ogden, Utah.

Kp Dillon, ridden by Tyson Lusk, covered the 330 yards in :17.009 and earned a 98 speed index. He is a Utahhome-bred racing for owner-breeder Karl Peterson, out of the Maknmoves mare Bk Roxyamovin. Riley Moosman saddled the winner.

Kp Dillon has won two-of-two career starts and banked $36,057 this season.

Owned by Paul Blanchard, Glock won or placed in seven races and banked $216,170. He was second in the Grade 1 Ruidoso Derby and the First Down Dash Derby and a finalist in the Rainbow Derby(G1) Higheasterjet Handicap(G3) and All American Gold Cup(G1).

From only three starters in his first crop he is the first first-year sire this season to get a stakes winner.

Glock is out of the multiple Grade 1 producing Strawfly Special mare Babe On The Fly.
