Graded Winner Louisiana Jambalaya to Spring Hill Farms for 2020

KAPLAN, LA—SEPTEMBER 5, 2019—Louisiana Jambalaya SI 99, a multiple graded stakes winning son of leading sire Jet Black Patriot, will stand the 2020 season at Spring Hill Farms, near Kaplan, Louisiana in 2020. His fee has been set $2,000, with consideration. Louisiana Jambalaya first foals will be 2-year-olds of 2020.

Owned by Carters Quarters LLC, Louisiana Jambalaya won or placed in nine races and earned $266,346. He won the Louisiana QHBA Sale Futurity(RG1), Louisiana Champions Day Juvenile(RG2) and was second in the LQHBA Derby. He was also a finalist in the Lee Berwick Futurity(RG1), John Alleman Memorial(RG3), Mr Jess Perry Stakes(RG3), and Treme Derby.

Louisiana Jambalaya was named the LQHBA Champion 2-Year-Old Colt of 2014 and the LQHBA Champion 3-Year-Old Colt of 2015.

His sire is the former leading Louisiana stallion Jet Black Patriot SI 110 ($956,921) winner of the Louisiana QHBA Futurity(RG1), Lee Berwick Futurity(RG1), Mardi Gras Futurity(RG2) and runner=up in the All American Futurity(G1) at 2.

In eight-crops to race Jet Black Patriot has sired 50 stakes horses, earners of $12.6 million with average earnings per starter of more than $27,000.
