Hailing from one of the leading prolific female sire lines in the industry, One Dashing Eagle won three seven-figure futurities in California and New Mexico and set a single-season earnings record of $2,079,065 to become only the seventh 2-year-old in 78 years to be named the AQHA Racing's World Champion.

One Dashing Eagle, who won six of seven starts and was also named overall champion 2-year-old and champion 2-year-old colt.

Racing for Jorge Carmona and brothers Jose and Gustavo De la Torre, One Dashing Eagle won the Ed Burke Million Futurity(G1) at Los Alamitos in June, the All American Futurity(G1) at Ruidoso Downs in September and the Golden State Million Futurity(G1) at Los Alamitos in November.

In 2017 One Dashing Eagle became the Leading Second-Crop Sire of Money Earners and the #5 national Leading 2-Year-Old Sire of Money Earners.
