PURCELL, OK—MARCH 19—Silver Spurs Equine, LLC announced today their stakes winning first crop sire Im A Fancy Pyc will stand the 2018 season in Oklahoma.

The Remington Park Oklahoma-Bred Futurity(RG3) winner will stand at Xtra Quarter Horses, a division of Silver Spurs Equine, near Purcell, Oklahoma. His fee has been set $2,500. All paid breeding fees include a free breeding to one of Silver Spurs Equine's junior stallions.

Owned by Silver Spurs LLC and S. Valdivia, Im A Fancy Pyc won five of six career starts including the $781,000 Remington Park Oklahoma-Bred Futurity(RG3) and was the third fastest qualifier for the $2.6 million All American Futurity(G1) at Ruidoso Down. Unfortunately, he suffered a career ending injury following his 4¼ length All American Futurity trial win.

An earner of $454,765, his only loss came after a trouble start in the $1.1 million Heritage Place Futurity(G1) at Remington Park.

Im A Fancy Pyc's first crop are 2-year-olds of 2018. From a limited foal crop of only nine 2-year-olds who became eligible for the first start on March 1, he has already sired Dalts Form My Fancy who won her first start in a $22,500 Maiden 2YO 250 yard race Friday (Mar 16) at Remington Park.

His sire Pyc Paint Your Wagon, among the industry's leading sires of money earners every year, has sired 95 stakes winners, 630 winners, earners of $29.3 million and average earnings per starter of $30,750. His other top performers include The Fiscal Cliff SI 109 (13 wins to 4, 2017 $580,335 AQHA Racing Champion Aged Stallion, -AQHA Challenge Championship S.-G1, etc.), Mr Pyc To You SI 97 (6 wins to 4, 2017 $473,686 Champion of Champions S.-G1, etc.) Im A Fancy Pyc SI 92 (see above). Pyc First Fancy Lee SI 102, a brother to Im A Fancy Pyc, is the sire of 2-year-old Cr Smoke, the fourth fastest qualifier to the 2018 Grade 3 $471,200 Oklahoma Futurity at Remington Park on March 10. The final will run back on March 24.

First Prize Fancy is a full sister to three Grade 1 winners and one Grade 1 placed runner including Heritage Place Futurity(G1) winner First Carolina SI 106, Remington Park Futurity(G1) winner First Prize Leesa SI 106 ($488,270), Remington Park Futurity(G1) winner First Prize Robin SI 103 ($295,147) and Texas Classic Futurity(G1) runner-up and multiple stakes sire First Prize Perry SI 102 ($243,946).

The second dam is the former Broodmare of the Year First Prize Dash SI 101, by Dash For Cash, a sister to all-time leading sire world champion First Down Dash SI 105 ($857,256).
