APHA World Champion Bull to C Hangin C Performance Horses for 2017

WYNNEWOOD, OK—SEPTEMBER 15, 2016—The 2015 APHA World Champion Running Horse Bull will begin his stallion career in 2017 at C Hangin C Performance Horses near Wynnewood, Oklahoma. His fee has been set at $850.

Bull, a 2013 bay tobiano stallion, made himself known in his freshman year on the track (2015), capturing $70,642 in eight starts, including three wins, three seconds and two thirds. That included running second in three stakes–the Victoria Ennis Memorial Handicap, in which he logged his highest speed index of 91, as well as the G1 Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Futurity and the G1 Lone Star Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Futurity—and third in the G1 Speedhorse Graham Paint & Appaloosa Futurity.

By multiple Paint Champion sire Cartel Success (QH) and out of Memories Of Texas by Leaving Memories(QH), Bull was bred by Bill Price of Thackerville, Oklahoma, and is owned-and-raced by Buddy Albin of Denton, Texas.

Cartel Success, a son of Quarter Horse sire Corona Cartel, has sired combined Quarter Horse and Paint earnings of more than $2 million. Among his top performers are Slew Of Success ($187,991), Bp Cartels Policy ($181,669), Daltasgunningforsucess ($152,301), etc.

Bull's dam, Memories Of Texas, is a sister to APHA Solid World Champion, Champion 2-Year-Old and Champion 2-Year-Old Gelding Texas Wildcat ($123,881), and APHA Champion 2-Year-Old Filly Verona ($57,189), etc. This is also the family of Quarter Horse stakes winners Okey Dokey Fantasy ($576,521), Fast Debonair ($455,658), etc.

Bull, who has compiled a (11) 3-3-3 record and earned $73,956 to date, has been sidelined this season by an injury but is expected to start this fall prior to his retirement to stud.
