SEGUIN, TX—APRIL 14, 2016—The Louisiana Cartel SI 109, the #2 Leading Second Crop Sire of Money Earners, already has a full book for 2016 at a fee of $4,000.

The 9-year-old stallion, by Corona Cartel out of The Louisiana Girl by Louisiana Slew(TB), stands at Haddad Ranch in Seguin, Texas.

The Louisiana Cartel was the #4 Leading First Crop sire in 2015 with 19 winners and more than $700,000 in earnings. He currently sets at #2 this season with nearly $300,000 in money earners.

From a limited number of starters in two crops to race the young stallion has sired 26 winners, 9 stakes horses(15%) with nearly $1.1 million in earnings and $16,982 Average Earnings Per Starter.

He has sired multiple stakes winner Ec Jet One SI 104 (6 wins to 3, $353,649), TQHA Sale Futurity(RG2) winner Cartels Pop Pop SI 92 (2 wins to 3, $190,435), TQHA Sale Futurity(RG2) runner-up Sissy Cartel SI 101 (2 wins to 3, $112,701), Ruidoso Juvenile Challenge runner-up Js Abel Dasher SI 96 (2 wins to 3, ($92,236), etc.

The Louisiana Cartel won or placed in eight of 10 career starts while earning $127,941. He won the Sam Houston Championship Challenge(G2), Sam Houston Classic(G2) and was third in the Firecracker Derby. He was also a finalist in the Remington Championship(G1) and Delta Championship Challenge(G3).
