Grade 1 Winner and Sire Teller Cartel Moves To Double LL Farm

BOSQUE, NM—OCTOBER 8, 2015—Teller Cartel, the No. 1 all-time leading money-earning son of Corona Cartel, has been moved to Double LL Farm in Bosque, New Mexico.

The Champion Two-Year-Old Colt of his crop when he won the All American Futurity G1, placed in the Golden State Million Futurity G1 and then was a finalist in the Los Alamitos Million Futurity G1, Teller Cartel won $1,212,471 as a two-year-old.

With nearly $9 million in earnings, Teller Cartel is the No. 2 siring son of Corona Cartel and is one of only three sons of Corona Cartel to sire three earners of more than $300,000. His $8,672,347 in earnings make him the No. 1 sire of money earners standing in New Mexico.

Teller Cartel’s Llano Teller $1,769,917 is the American Quarter Horse Association’s No. 13 all-time leading money earner and is the No. 1 money earner sired by any son of Corona Cartel.

In addition to the Remington Park Futurity G1, Llano Teller also won the All American Derby G1, Ruidoso Derby G1 and Remington Park Championship Challenge G2.

Other major stakes winners by Teller Cartel include Leo Stakes G1 winner Llano Cartel $359,305 (currently racing with 3 stakes wins and 5 stakes placings) and Ruidoso Futurity G1 winner Cartel Quick $317,100. The 2015 Grade I runners sired by Teller Cartel include Django B, who will run in this Saturday night’s $498,000 Dash For Cash Futurity G1 at Lone Star.

The only stallion standing in New Mexico to win the All American Futurity, the syndicated Teller Cartel will stand for a fee of $3,000.
