MALAD CITY, ID–AUGUST 14, 2022–Reign Of Corona broke her maiden with a 7 mph crosswind Saturday afternoon in the 300-yard Thomas Market Overnight Futurity (not black type) at Oneida County Fair

Breaking second from the third hole, Reign Of Corona and jockey Oscar Villa quickly pick up speed and cross the wire one-length ahead of Okey Prissy Mountain. With 8/1 odds at post-time, the :15.670 second win with an 89 speed index paid betting spectators $20.40 on a $2.00 wager.

Trained by Ramiro Fregoso, Reign of Corona is owned and bred by Bret Lee Abrams of Idaho. The daughter of Kvn Corona is out of Going Corona by Carters Cartel.

The Thomas Market Overnight Futurity was the first out for runner-up Okey Prissy Mountain who was ridden by Todd Thomas and conditioned by Ferrell Christophersen. Bred and owned by Vaughn Vicchrilli of Utah, the daughter Jr Dynasty Mountain is out of Miss Okey Fame by Okey Dokey Dale.

Conditioned by Wes Kellett, Trump 45 and jockey Never Marin made great effort to place third. The Chad Poulsen homebred gelding is also by Jr Dynasty Mountain and out of Too Regulated by Sir Antonio.

Rounding out the order of finish was Hawk Fire, Ethan and Ag Favorite Look. Ehh Glance Of Grey was scratched by trainer.
