Third Consecutive Win This Season For Pattys Saint In Oneida County Maturity

MALAD CITY, ID–AUGUST 13, 2022–Pattys Saint scores her third consecutive win of the season in the $5,600 Oneida County Maturity (not black type) at Oneida County Fair on Saturday. This 300-yard victory marks the second time Pattys Saint has graced the Oneida County Maturity winner’s circle.

Pattys Saint, with Jesus Virgen in the irons, flew from the gates for a wire-to-wire victory by 1 3/4-lengths over Crown Apple. The post-time favorites clocked a 112 speed index in :15.016 seconds on the fast track with a 7 mph cross wind.

Conditioned by Heath Hillman, Pattys Saint has won 12 out of 16 starts with $125,081 in the bank. She has eight stakes victories in her arsenal of accolades, including the Grade 1 AQHA Distaff Challenge Championship in 2021. 

Bred and owned by Robert Harrison of Idaho, the 4-year-old daughter of Jess Got Easier is out of Sp Saint Patty by Saint Shackleton. 

Runner up Crown Apple, ridden by Eric Ayala, made a steady effort for the wire in :15.337 seconds, clocking a 101 speed index. Trained by Matt Larsen, the 6-year-old son of Masters Call has won $17,540 in career earnings. Crown Apple’s dam is Primal Scream by On A High and she is owned/bred by Matt and Promise Larsen of Utah.

No One Fights Alone, guided by Francisco Linan was game for third in the Oneida County Maturity. Trained by Scott War, the daughter of Jesse James Jr has earned $23,892. Bred by Denny Whitaker and owned by Whitaker Farms LLC of Idaho, the 5-year-old daughter mare is out of Bac N The Saddle by Splash Bac.

The remaining order of finish is Missmayastone in fourth, Awesomer in fifth and Treinta Coronas in six.
