Wire-To-Wire Victory For Kj Little Lady In the Rocky Mountain Classic P&A Futurity

MALAD CITY, ID–AUGUST 13, 2022–Breaking out of the one hole, Kj Little Lady (ApHC) with Jesus Virgen in the saddle, won the $12,000 Rocky Mountain Classic Paint & Appaloosa Futurity Saturday afternoon at Oneida County Fair.

Kj Little Lady flew from the gates for a wire-to-wire victory in :15.557 seconds. The post-time favorite clocked a 93 speed index finishing a full length ahead of Sw Bellatrix. 

Conditioned by Glen Jamison, Kj Little Lady has graced the winner’s circle 3 out of 4 starts in her freshman campaign for owners Kent and Judy Taylor of Idaho. Bred by Kent Taylor, the daughter of Kj Taylor is out of Fawns Rose by With Honors.

Runner up Sw Bellatrix (APHA), ridden by Dallas Erickson trailed in second from start to finish crossing the wire a half-length ahead of Kj Cashs Fox. Owned and trained by Bryan Grant, the daughter of Send A Candy Guy has lit the board in all 3 outs this season. Bred by Sherry Wingfield of Oklahoma, Sw Bellatrix is out of Laci Lineage by Judys Lineage.

Kj Cashs Fox (ApHC), guided by Jesus Flores, was game for third in the 300-yard stakes race. The gelding son of Kj Taylor is also bred by Kent Taylor. Conditioned by Glen Jamison, Kj Cashs Fox has lit the board in every out. Owned by Glen and Jill Jamison, he is out of Geena Fox by Geneo JJ. 

Tisa Showoff, under Francisco Linan, placed fourth and Moon Music, ridden by Todd Thomas placed fifth. Geeto, Spiritied One and Tisa Digger were all scratched by their trainers before the race started.
