Beep Beep Rev Rev Sets Top Mark MQHRA Stallion Auction Futurity at Canterbury Park - UPDATED

SHAKOPOEE, MN—JUNE 23, 2022—Beep Beep Rev Rev ran her undefeated record to 3-for-3 Thursday night while posting the fastest qualifying time for the MQHRA Stallion Auction Futurity at Canterbury Park.

The 10 fastest qualifiers, from three trial races contested on Thursday's card, will return to Canterbury Park on Wednesday, July 13th to vie for the winner's share of a $62,250 purse going 350 yards.

Beep Beep Rev Rev, under jockey Edwin Escobedo, took charge immediately out of the gate in the second trial to win be one-length while clocking :17.734 seconds, a 96 speed index with a 9 mph crosswind.

Saddled by leading trainer Jason Olmstead, the daughter of leading second-crop sire A Revenant races for owner-breeder Summer Run, Inc.

The Minnesota-bred filly, from the Shazoom mare Etta Betta Zoom, broke her maiden at first asking at Remington Park May 13th. She then won the $25,00 North Star State Futurity at Canterbury in her last start, June 1. Beep Beep Rev Rev has earned $32,090.

Alotta Oh La La finished second, under jockey Storm Smith, in the fastest trial to get the second fastest clocking of :17.900, a 91 speed index. Trainer Mallory North conditions the daughter third-crop sire Bf Farm Boss for owner-breeder Leon Glasser.

The North Dakota bred filly, out of Little Love Affair by Rare News, has lit the board twice in three starts this season.

Relentless Oakie got his second career win in the closing trial to record the third fastest time of :17.990 seconds, an 88 speed index. Trainer Jason Olmstead saddled the Hes Relentless gelding out of Mis Dynasty by FDD Dynasty for owner-breeder Tom Maher.

Edwin Escobedo was aboard. The Oklahoma-bred broke his maiden in his career debut at Remington Park April 22, then finished second in Allowance race at the Oklahoma track May 14.

Olmstead also saddled 4th fastest qualifier My Candys Relentless. Trainers Dean Frey and Victory Hanson qualified two horses each to the final.
