GILLETTE, WY—JUNE 18, 2022—Stakes winner Cd Proud Flyin D Kas edged clear as the post time favorite under jockey Edgar Ramirez to defeat Rtm000000 Glory Days in track record setting time in the $7,000 307 Racing Fillies & Mares Stakes (not black type) at Energy Downs Saturday afternoon.
Conditioned by trainer Jorge Garfias, Cd Proud Flyin D Kas completed the 400 yard course in :19.694 seconds, equaling a 109 speed index into a 10 mph headwind. The previous record of :19.766 seconds was established June 19, 2021, by Senators Revenge.
Cd Proud Flyin D Kas, a daughter of View Me Flying, races for owners Daniel and Carol Lee. Jeff and Leslie Makovy bred the five-time winner in Wyoming from the Super de Kas mare Jps Super de Lizzie. The 6-year-old mare picked up $3,850 for today's effort to bring her bankroll to $42,405.
Runner-up Rtm Glory Days finished half-a-length back to earn $1,540 for second. Mark Hanson trains the stakes winning daughter of Coronas Fast Dash for owner RTM Stables LLC.
David Pinto rode the Idaho-bred 4-year-out out of Rtm Say Your Prayers by Chickie Cherry Cola. Bred by Susan Hanson, Rtm Glory Days has earned $18,254.
Three-quarters back Dicey Seduction took home $910 for finishing third. Jockey Uriel Dominguez rides the 4-year-old Our Dicey Ffm filly for owner Calli Vantassell. Uriel Dominguez, Sr. trains the Wyoming-bred filly from the Hawkinson mare Seduce.
Gary Laramie is the breeder. With three wins in 15 starts, Dicey Seduction has earned $20,220.
Daenerys Targaryen was fourth. Cd Dark Moon Arisin scratched.
