Heritage Place Kicks of 37th Annual Yearling Sale Today

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—SEPTEMBER 24, 2015—The 37th annual Heritage Place Yearling Sale kicks off today in Oklahoma City.

A pre-sale party on Wednesday evening was preempted by accident across the street from Heritage Place when a utility truck took out several electrical poles causing the facility to lose power. That did not stop the enthusiastic crowd from going ahead and enjoying the food and camaraderie.

The sale itself features 885 American Quarter Horses yearlings set to sell over three days—today (Thursday), Friday and Saturday starting at 10 a.m. each day.

On Friday morning at 8:30 a.m., TQHA will host a meeting in the sale auditorium to give an update on Texas racing. Everyone is invited to attend.

Immediately following the sale on Friday, Oklahoma QHRA will host a reception at the restaurant and club.

The sale begins promptly at 10:00 am this morning with hips 1 through 295. Friday's session featured hips 296 through 5990 and Saturday's session includes hips 591 through 885. The auction also starts promptly at 10:00 am on Friday and Saturday.
