PHOENIX, AZ–NOVEMBER 16, 2022–
Valentin Jqm, a multiple stakes winning 5-year-old son of champion Separatist racing for Juan Cesar Torres-Casas, is one of 10 sprinters entered in Saturday's 300-yard, $30,000 Wayne Brasher Memorial Stakes at Turf Paradise.

Valentin Jqm will be dropping in class and shortening in distance off of his eighth-place finish, 4 1/4 lengths behind winner and reigning world champion Danjer, in the September 25, 440-yard Albuquerque Fall Championship (G1) at Albuquerque Downs.The California-bred gelding won two stakes during the Arizona Downs summer meet.

Valentin Jqm drew post 10 and will be ridden by Michael Ybarra for trainer Alex Torres-Casas.

Old School Icon, a homebred 5-year-old Texas Icon gelding racing for the late Martha F. "Mimi" Wells, is coming off of a head victory in the 400-yard, $35,000 Blane Schvaneveldt Stakes at Los Alamitos on October 1. Matt Fales trains the Arizona-bred gelding.

Old School Icon drew post 3 and will be ridden by Raul A. Valenzuela.
