RUIDOSO DOWNS, NM–AUGUST 15, 2022–
Thirty-six 3-year-old fillies, headed by stakes winners Miss Beth Dutton and Political Rose, are entered in Sunday's 440-yard All American Oaks trials at Ruidoso Downs.

A sorrel daughter of Kiss My Hocks racing for Conda Maze and Judy Maze, Miss Beth Dutton is coming off of a neck victory in the 400-yard, $349,000 Rainbow Oaks at Ruidoso Downs on July 23. The filly drew post 9 and will be ridden by James Flores for trainer Clint Crawford in the last of four trials.

Political Rose races for Dunn Ranch from the barn of trainer Monty Arrossa, and the Apollitical Jess filly is coming off of a Remington Park spring campaign during which she won all three of her starts -- including the May 28, $279,000 Heritage Place Oaks -- and earned $141,436. Political Rose drew post 3 and will be ridden by Jesus Rios Ayala in the third trial.

Political Rose's eight opponents in the third heat include Ben Peterson's Lil Longmire, a homebred daughter of A Revenant trained by Heath Taylor. The runner-up to Political Rose in the Heritage Place Oaks, Lil Longmire has banked $151,508 from five outs this season, and her three wins include a clear 1 1/2-length victory in the July 8, $177,000 Firecracker Derby (G3) at Delta Downs.

Lil Longmire drew post 2 and will be ridden by Rodrigo Vallejo.

The 10 fastest qualifiers from Sunday's trials will meet in the September 4, $300,000-est. All American Oaks final.
