ALBUQUERQUE, NM–AUGUST 18, 2022–
KJ Frankie B, a 5-year-old Apollitical Jess gelding racing for John Lee, Kathy Lee, and Ruben Mares, leads a field of seven aged runners in Sunday's 440-yard, $65,000-added Bank of America Albuquerque Championship Challenge Stakes at Albuquerque Downs.

Trained by Wes Giles, KJ Frankie B will be making his first start since May 30, when the gelding ran fourth, 1 3/4 lengths behind winner Hesa Party Wagon, in the 350-yard, $25,000 John Andreini Memorial Stakes at Ruidoso Downs. KJ Frankie B has banked $36,530 from four races this year, and he started his season with a fourth-place run, two lengths behind Instygator, in the 440-yard, $350,000 Championship at Sunland Park (G1) on January 2.

KJ Frankie B drew post 6 and will be ridden by Cordarelton Benn.

The winner of this race will earn a berth in the October 22, $250,000 Bank of America Challenge Championship (G1) at Horseshoe Indianapolis. The complete lineup, in post position order including jockey assignments and morning-line odds:
