Michael Teel’s multiple stakes winner AJs High will attempt to start a new winning streak in Saturday’s $74,340 Bank of America Prairie Meadows Championship Challenge Stakes (G2) at Prairie Meadows.

ALTOONA, IA—SEPTEMBER 15, 2016—Michael Teel’s AJs High, a homebred 4-year-old son of Apollitical Jess trained by Charley Hunt, will attempt to start a new winning streak in Saturday’s 440-yard, $74,340 Bank of America Prairie Meadows Championship Challenge Stakes (G2) at Prairie Meadows.

AJs High is coming off of a second-place finish, a head behind winner Mavara Vegas, in the 400-yard, $45,000 Keokuk Stakes (G3) at Prairie Meadows on August 20. Prior to that runner-up effort, the gelding put together a four-race win streak, with three of those victories coming against graded stakes company at Remington Park.

An earner of $174,621 from five outs this season, AJs High drew post 7 and will be ridden by Stormy Smith.

Other contenders include Habits Secret, a 6-year-old No Secrets Here stallion owned and trained by Ricardo Martinez. At Hialeah Park last winter, Habits Secret won two of his three races, including the 440-yard, $25,000 Sawgrass Stakes on February 7.

Habits Secret drew post 10 and will be ridden by Francisco Ramirez Jr.

Cr Game Changer, a homebred Game Patriot filly campaigned by Curt Tobin and Dick Tobin, is one of 10 2-year-olds entered back in Saturday’s 350-yard, $53,100 John Deere Prairie Meadows Juvenile Challenge.

Cr Game Changer has banked $50,452 from five outs, and his resume includes a second-place finish, a head behind winner Pyc Jess Bite Mydust, in the July 10, 350-yard Mystic Lake Northlands Futurity at Canterbury Park. The filly drew post 8 and will be ridden by Brayan Velazquez.

Fastest qualifier Perkin Desire drew post 3 and will be ridden by Ramiro Garcia for owner Roberto Gomez, who also trains the bay daughter of Desirio. The filly has won her last two outs, including the last of three trials on September 3.

Pohl, Send Me This Wagon is coming off of a sixth-place finish, two lengths behind winner Getting Even, in the 400-yard, $40,000 Merial Oklahoma Distaff Challenge at Remington Park on May 22. The homebred 5-year-old daughter of Pyc Paint Your Wagon drew post 9 and will be ridden by Jorge Torres.

Justified has won his last three starts, including the July 10, 400-yard Canterbury Park Derby at Canterbury Park. The colt is owned by David Perry and trainer Tim Holdaway.

Chase Clark will ride Justified from post 9.
