IDAHO FALLS, ID—AUGUST 29, 2015—Tanner Thedford rode Somebodysknocken to the top qualifying time during three trials Saturday at Sandy Downs for the Merial Sandy Downs Distaff Challenge.

The 10 fastest qualifiers will return to the Idaho raceway on Sunday, September 13 to vie for the winner's share of a $14,500-added purse going 400 yards. Also at stake in a starting spot in the Grade 1 $125,000 Guaranteed Merial Distaff Challenge Championship November 7 at Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Owned-and-trained by Ferando Carrete, Somebodysknocken clocked a :19.858 time to earn a 102-speed index into a 20 mph headwind. She defeated Zoomin Daphne by a nose to get the top mark.

Fresh Water Farms bred the daughter of Pyc Paint Your Wagon in Texas from the Streakin La Jolla mare Blazin La Jolla. Her record stands at (8) 3-3-2 with $38,314 in earnings.

Garth Blattner saddled Absolut Pride to the second fastest time of :19.863 seconds in the final trial. The daughter of Ketel Won belongs to the partnership of Darla Barlow, Kylie and Lukrena Schoonover. Bred by Les Barlow and Gary Messenger, Absolut Pride is out of the First Wrangler mare Sign Of Pride.

Jose Figueroa rode the sorrel miss to her third career win in 14 starts.
