GRANDE PRAIRIE, ALB—AUGUST 1, 2015—Trainer Allen Goodsell saddled the 1-2 finishers in the $23,497(US) Zoetis Evergreen Distance Challenge at Grande Prairie on Saturday night. Kr Streakin Version easily defeated Kr Howdoyoulikemenow by 2˝ lengths to pocket the $11,749(US) winner's purse.

The victory also garnered the 7-year-old son of multiple stakes sire Latest Version a starting spot in the Grade 1 $100,000-Guartanteed Zoetis Distance Challenge Championship at Lone Star Park November 7.

Kr Streakin Version went wire-to-wire over the 870 yards and was ridden out by jockey Tyler Walker in a quick :45.100 clocking to earn a 106-speed index. Racing for owners Marvin Christensen and Richard Aldoff, the multiple stakes winner posted his third straight win this season.

Bred in Montana by Hermstad, Perry and Kyler from the Streakin La Jolla mare Streakin Miss Tina, Kr Streakin Version's record stands at (25) 8-4-1 with $50,786 in earnings.

Kr Howdoyoulikemenow is a multiple stakes-placed son of Scruitinzer owned by Marvin Christensen. Bred in Alberta by Ed and Mary Kyler the bay gelding was ridden by Jose Rocha. The $5,052(US) runner-up check boosted the 8-year-old's earnings total to $55,356. He is out of the Six Fols mare Kr Check Me Out.

Glittering Blue and Asbigastexas dead-heated for third and earned $2,173(US) each. Fast Fifty finished last.
