PHOENIX, AZ—APRIL 26, 2015—Las Vegas Ranch's Jess Perfect Miracle got the biggest win of his career Sunday afternoon when he posted a half-length victory over stablemate Mickey Ward in the $22,140 Zoetis Turf Paradise Distance Challenge at Turf Paradise. He rewarded backers with a $19.40 $2 win payoff.
Under the capable hands of jockey Daniel Vegara, the 5-year-old Dean Miracle gelding completed the 870 yards in :45.786 seconds to earn a 92 speed index. The $10,627 winner's purse not only boosted his lifetime earnings to $38,024 but the win also garnered a starting spot in the Grade 1 $150,000 Zoetis Distance Challenge Championship at Lone Star Park on November 7.

Fales also trains runner-up Mickey Ward for owner/breeders Ralph and Carolyn Fales. The FDD Dynasty 4-year-old picked up $4,539 for his effort. Ridden by Jorge Bourdieu, the sorrel gelding is out of A Mere Formality, by Leaving Memories.
Cody Joiner trained All Guns Firing finished 1˝ lengths back in third place for owner Lex Fabrizio. Also a 4-yaer-old son of FDD Dynasty, he was ridden by Alejandro Luna. Bred in Utah by The Running A LLC, All Guns Firing is out of Trista Boom Booom by Heza Fast Man. He earned $2,214.
Post-time favorite Red Hot Niko was fourth, followed by Follow The Dream, War Khal, Look Me In The Eyes and Creole Williams.
