OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—APRIL 23, 2015—Remington Park hosted six Challenge trials on Saturday's card, two races each for the $100,000 Bank of America Oklahoma Challenge Championship(G2), $40,000 Merial Oklahoma Distaff Challenge and the $50,000 Zoetis Remington Park Distance Challenge.
Bank of America Oklahoma Championship
The grade 2, Bank of America Oklahoma Championship, worth $100,000 is the top event of the day. Rockin Disco had the top trial time with a 440-yard clocking of :21.449 seconds in the second of two trials. Owned by Rockin J Running Horses and Jack Manning of Gateville, Texas and trained by Tammy Johnson, Rockin Disco was ridden by Ricardo Aguirre.
The trial win was the second straight victory of the season for Rockin Disco, a 5-year-old Oklahoma-bred gelding by Rock Solid Jess from the Check Him Out mare Check This Disco. The trial win is his ninth career victory.

Merial Remington Park Distaff Challenge
There were two trials held for the Grade 3, $40,000 Merial Remington Park Distaff Challenge with Dash Through Fire posting the fastest 400-yard time in :19.683. Owned and bred in California by Johnny Trotter of Hereford, Texas, Dash Through Fire is trained by Trey Wood and was ridden by Cody Jensen.

Zoetis Remington Park Distance Challenge
The opening set of trials on the Saturday card were around the turn at 870 yards. The Grade 3,$50,000 Zoetis Remington Park Distance Challenge had CJs Rocksolid as the top trial runner, posting :44.99 seconds around the turn.

Multiple stakes sire Rock Solid Jess sired the fastest qualifiers to the Bank of America Oklahoma Challenge Championship and the Zoetis Remington Park Distance Challenge on Saturday night.
Sunday afternoon features the annual Extreme Racing Day for Charity, with Camels, Ostriches, Zebras, Dinky Donkeys, Pigs and The Express Ranch Clydesdales featured throughout the afternoon of horse racing. The first Extreme Race exhibition has a pair of Clydesdales in a match race at 1pm. The pari-mutuel horse racing starts at the normal Sunday time of 1:30pm. All times are Central.
