The gelded-son of leading third-crop sire Apollitical Blood has seen runner-up finishes in both the Los Alamitos Winter Derby(G1) and the Remington Park Oklahoma Bred Derby(G3) thus far in his three-year old campaign.

Also fourth in the Grade 1 Heritage Place Futurity and the All American Juvenile last season, he ended the 2020 season with a win in the Holiday Handicap at Los Alamitos Race Course. Candy Blood has earned $217,620.
