OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—MARCH 4, 2020—The American Quarter Horse Association has opened their first satellite office in Oklahoma City. The first permanent service center, outside of the Amarillo, is located at Heritage Place Sales Company on 2829 South MacArthur Blvd. in Oklahoma City, OK.

Horsemen and women can transfer, register, complete leases, embryo enrollments, and more at the new office which is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (CST) Monday thru Friday. Users are urged to schedule an appointment, however walk-ins are accepted but there could be a wait.

"Early reaction has been extremely positive," Butch Wise, AQHA 1st Vice-President said this week.

Appointments are scheduled every hour and last 50 minutes. Traditionally, the amount of work that can be completed within this time frame is 2-3 registrations or 3-4 transfers, pending all paperwork being prepared in advanced and completed. Don't worry, AQHA is there to help you complete the paperwork if assistance is needed.

If you have more transactions than can be completed within your appointment, you have the option to schedule an additional follow-up appointment or leave the work with the AQHA representative to be completed and processed for you.
