MILES CITY, MT—NOVEMBER 17, 2017—According to an article published Thursday on the BillingsGazette.com, the Montana Board of Horse Racing have approved live horse racing meets in 2018 for Miles City and Great Falls.

The Miles City Bucking Horse Sale race meet in Miles City will have racing on May 13, 19 and 20.

The Great Falls Turf Club received six racing days: July 14, 21, 22, 27, 28 and 29.

The Turf Club applied for the July 14 date, but has the board's permission to drop it or move it to the next weekend after it has a chance to analyze the amount of money being received from the board.

The Great Falls group also wants to review the amount of local donations received and the competition from other local events before committing to the July 14 date.
