Live Rainbow Derby Broadcast Today on Ride-TV, Rainbow Futurity Broadcast Sunday

Live Rainbow Derby Broadcast Today on Ride-TV, Rainbow Futurity Broadcast Sunday

RUIDOSO DOWNS, NM—JULY 22, 2017—RIDE-TV, a horse-focused television network that can be seen on Dish Network (Channel 248) and other outlets throughout the nation, will kickoff live coverage of the $1.15-million Rainbow Derby(G1) today (Saturday). They will also air the $1-million Rainbow Futurity(G1) live on Sunday from Ruidoso Downs.

The 2017 Rainbow Derby(G1) fastest qualifier, Hold Air Hostage (seen above), leads a field of ten top ranked 3-year olds in the $1.15-million dollar finals this afternoon. A rematch of the 2017 Ruidoso Futurity(G1) co-champions, Eagle Jazz and Uptown Dynasty, headline Sunday's race card at Ruidoso Downs.

Veteran-horse racing analyst, Tom Dawson, will host the live telecast for Ride TV.

Coverage begins today (July 22) at 5pm EST with the $100,000 Corona Cartel, featuring the second 10 fastest qualifiers from the July 9 Rainbow Derby trials. Coverage of the $1.15-million Rainbow Derby(G1) is at 7pm EST.

On Sunday (July 23) the Rainbow Juvenile is the first featured stakes event on Ride TV’s coverage at 5pm EST, followed by the telecast of the 2017 Rainbow Futurity(G1) at 6pm EST.
