Now a two-time Grade 1 winner, Tres Friends advances in the national rankings.

Tres Friends Jumps Up Freshman National Poll

Q-RACING JOURNAL—NOVEMBER 19, 2015—Behind a second major finals victory of the season, Tres Friends rose two spots to No. 2 this week in the AQHA Racing-Horseplayernow.com National Poll for 2-year-olds.Saturday's $1,151,777 Texas Classic Futurity (G1) winner now sits just behind All American Futurity (G1) winner Jess Good Candy in the poll. Tres Friends also tallied the prestigious Rainbow Futurity (G1) in July. There were no newcomers to the Top 10 juveniles this week.

As for the older horses, Moonist continues to pace the polling, 105-95, over Heza Dasha Fire this week. The poll did welcome Bodacious Eagle at No. 7 after the gelding upset No. 3-ranked Apollitical Blood in the $415,585 Texas Classic Derby (G1). All American Gold Cup (G1) winner Rock You, winner of Sunday's Z. Wayne Griffin Director’s Stakes at Los Alamitos, earned a Champion of Champions (G1) berth and this week's No. 10 ranking.
